I upgraded my original 20GB hard drive to the 120GB hard drive and have never been happier! I am now able to have all ten of my games on the drive and still have 50GB to spare. This monster drive decreases load times and now my Xbox is whisper quiet since the DVD drive is not spinning like a top. This is a must have for all Xbox 360 owners ! I love mine !

Look, anyone with a 20 gig standard HD for their Xbox needs to upgrade. With the new XBox Live experience that was released, you can now copy full games to the hard drive. Why? Faster Loads and quieter CD drive.

By now, you’ve probably downloaded and deleated a ton of stuff. This leads to fragmenting which leads to slower drive. Boom, new hard drive. No frags on it.

It comes with a transfer cable. Plug the old hard drive into it, install the new drive and let it rip. I had about 250mgs of space left on mine, and the full transfer took 1 hour 28 minutes. Once you restart, it’s like nothing has changed. Fast and simple. And they lowered the price a bit ago. So why not?

Recently purchased the 120 gb HDD from Amazon. Saved $ on the retail price and it arrived very fast. Anyway, data transfer was a snap; took about half an hour(my 20gb was almost maxed after 3 yrs+). Only a few free stray gamer pics and themes didn’t make it, all saves were transferred perfectly. With the new feature available w/NXE, enabling games to be loaded on the HDD, this large drive is essential. Now my games play even better(quicker load screens, better FR, quicker texture pop-in etc.)and my 360 is silent. NO more disk read errors either = no more interrupted online matches w/friends! Also, less wear and tear on the disk drive and less heat build up in the gpu. Your 360 will last longer w/less worries. Very worthy accessory any hardcore gamer should not be without imo.
