Pelican’s Charge and Store Station provides an easy and quick way to charge and store your PS3 wireless controller. Fully charges up to two PS3 controllers, 3 times faster than through the USB port.

The Controller Charging Station for the PlayStation 3 is a modern looking, swept-back spire rising from a black base. The leading edge of the spire has two clear plastic docking bays with mini-USB connections jutting out. PlayStation 3 controllers couple with the docking bays and appear to levitate to a degree, floating one above the other on the docking station’s spire. A pair of USB ports inset at the base of the spire offers the ability to charge up to four SIXAXIS controllers at once, two in the docking bays, and two via USB wires.

We like the look of Pelican’s Charging Station for the PlayStation 3. It’ll look modern and attractive sitting among other gaming peripherals and is definitely a more convenient way to keep your SIXAXIS controllers fully charged than plugging them into the PS3 directly.

It looks better than in the picture. Not more USB cables hanging out from front of my PS3. The green/red charging status on the unit when in charging mode is pretty cool.
Usability - Only gripe is you need to hold the unit altogether to plug in the controller - wish it was easier to slide the controller in.

Bought this dual charge base not too long ago and am very pleased with its performance. very straight forward as far as functionality, charges 2 controllers

(can charge up to 4 because it has 2 usb ports on its base) and it plugs into the wall so no more need to leave the ps3 running if you need a charge.

The charger’s design is very smart looking and it makes for a nice controller organizer and display. While the controllers are charging, the holsters are lit (red - while charging; green - when fully charged).

Highly recommend this product for anyone who owns a ps3.

Worth the 30 bucks I paid for it, it allows me to be super lazy. It looks much better than I even thought it would. Can be tricky to get the usb ports to line up the first time or two, but once you get the feel it becomes easy. The controllers lock in pretty well, I even saw someone wall mount this with the controllers being held against gravity. Overall a good piece of kit!
