Hard to see buttons in a dark room, December 13, 2008
Overall it gets the job done, nice and simple. Only complaint is it’s hard to see the buttons when watching a movie in a dark room and I wish Sony would open the bluetooth code so other manufacturers could make a universal remote. I HATE ALL THE REMOTES LAYING AROUND.

I bought my PS3 to mostly watch blu-ray movies and the games are an added bonus. I prefer using an individual remote since most universals are a bit wonky. They do some things well but not everything. This was designed for the system and I bought it instead of the Nyko remote.
I like Nyko but didn’t care for their remote over this one.
The only gripe I have with this is the “STOP” button is Big and easy to press by mistake. It takes a while to load the movie again if you press it, and the remote is not lighted. So a smaller stop button and lighted remote with the Sony PS3 blue color would be sweet. These 2 factors were enough for me to drop it to only 4 stars.
