I needed a strip outlet that had many transformer plugins on it. This has 6 perfectly spaced. I have a desktop computer with printer, wireless internet, lights, refrigerator, phone system, and other items plugged in. This purchase was well worth the investment. I also loved the idea of the product backing up with proper installation, up to $300,00.00 worth of equipment. So, my office equipment is fully and completely insured in case of power surge. It is wall mounted so I don’t have to crawl under my desk to reach and undo plugs for whatever reason.

I looked far and wide for a power strip with this many transformer “brick” outlets. This one takes the cake. I’m able to plug in my entire computer setup–CPU, monitor, speakers, printer, desk lamp, etc., with outlets to spare and no extra adapters. The phone/ethernet/cable protection is another good feature. So you don’t need to worry about getting zapped through that either.

In addition to versatility, the quality’s high as well. My home office is in the basement, and we had a storm that resulted in a stream of water from one corner to the other. I found the power strip literally sitting in water, but nothing was damaged. Which brings me to another feature–slits on the back so you can mount it to the wall, preferably before the rain… What would be even stronger is a hole that I could put a screw through while holding it against the wall, but this seems to work so far.

All in all I’ve never been as excited about a power strip as I am about this one.

There are a lot of reviews on this product, but I had to add mine. After lightening struck a tree next to our house, our neighbors suffered several appliance failures, including a blown TV. Ours, including our computer survived (plugged into one of these). More amazingly, the outlet this was plugged into blew out of the wall, frying the protector, the TV lost its color for 3 days, but then popped back in and we are still using it. Our electrician says, he’s never seen anything like it, but he’s recommending this surge protector now.
